Camping, Birthdays and Haircuts!

We've been having a fun summer! We started off with camping up American Fork canyon. I will admit that it was fun. I had a hard time with some things, but overall the experience was good for our family! We only stayed one night. Mostly to test the waters for me. lol The kids can't wait to go again and stay for longer! :) We found a great little area with big rocks and lots of dirt! All the kids had their own sleeping bag, but somehow Nolan ended up inside mine. It was super crowded as you can imagine. lol He slept really great. As for me...not so much. But camping isn't about sleeping is it?! ;) We had s'mores, hot dogs, and lots of goodies. Colby even made a few friends. Too bad they were visiting from out of state, so no play dates in the near future.

Avery turned 5 on July 7th. She was so excited! I can't believe our sweet girl is near starting school. For the past several months Avery and I have been growing our hair out to donate. Aunt Alicia joined in on the fun too. July 13th was the big day! First we had Ave's hair cut. She had 10.5 in chopped off for Locks of Love. It is such a big change for her and I. But she is so happy about her choice. She says she doesn't want to grow it out anymore. Later we met up with Aunt Alicia to get our hair done. I was so nervous cause I barely had 13 in and you need 8 to donate to Pantene Pro-V. But I remained committed to our goal and didn't run away! ;) Alicia also cut 8 inches off. She was ready. Being 5.5 months pregnant in the summer might have something to do with that! ;)

Birthday Girl!!

Make a Wish! ;)
